Title: Aplicación de metodología de seguridad en un entorno IoT doméstico
Author: Garrido Escalera, Daniel

Abstract: We can define the Internet of Things (IoT) as the interconnection of objects or machines through the Internet. This concept has more and more applications in different areas; agriculture, urban planning, home automation, health, logistics, Industry, etc. These projects have a series of characteristics, such as the use of small devices, their low calculation capacity, the prioritization of low consumption to extend the life of the batteries, or the existence of embedded code in the elements. All these particularities make us consider the validity of security designs based on traditional models. Therefore, this work aims to discover, based on these singularities, and focusing on the domestic sphere, the best models for designing security in projects in the IoT environment. A prototype of a domestic IoT project will be developed on which we will apply the proposed model.
