Abstract: In this paper, it is presented a fictitious case of a 58-year-old-man who suffers a hemorrhagic stroke in the right middle cerebral artery, with foci of hemorrhage in the frontal, parietal and temporal lobes. This type of injury occurs after the rupture of a blood vessel and involves long recovery processes, which in many cases produce a series of physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioral sequelae, with an impact on functionality and quality of life. In this study, a neuropsychological intervention is proposed, beggining with a neuropsychological evaluation, which reveals alterations that affect several cognitive domains: attention, with the presence of left visuospatial heminegligence, visuospatial and visuoconstructive skills, memory and executive functioning; and behavioral, highlighting anosognosia, irritability and impulsivity. The general objective of the intervention is to restore and/ or compensate the affected cognitive processes, address emotional and behavioral aspects with an impact on daily functioning and accompany the person and their family in the rehabilitation process, in order to maximize the quality of life. A 6-month-long neuropsychological rehabilitation program is proposed, with 3 weekly sessions of 45 minutes, with an approach of: cognitive rehabilitation, training in compensatory strategies, behavior modification and psychotherapy, as well as psychoeducation. It is expected to find improvement in all areas after the end of this period, at which point it is proposed to re-apply the evaluation protocol described.
