Abstract: Antenna development is a very broad and interesting field of application. One of the interesting technologies that can be used in the process of creating an antenna is that of fractals; geometric shapes that, due to the characteristics of their geometry, are capable of transmitting at different frequencies. On the other hand, the development of the Internet of Things(IoT) idea has led in recent years to a boom of new communication technologies that allow the interoperability of all devices that are integrated in this new idea. The main concern of the protocols applied in IoT is the management of energy resources. The problem lies in the fact that the devices have to maintain as much autonomy as possible, without losing the scope of the communication protocols used before the emergence of IoT. One of the new protocols that has emerged strongly is the LoRa protocol. This is a protocol in which a great autonomy is achieved together with a magnificent range. Combining both concepts, it would be possible to manufacture antennas that work for this purpose and can be used for other functions. This project arises as an idea of design and fabrication of a fractal antenna, which could transmit in these LoRa frequencies. In order to achieve it, the pertinent theoretical studies and calculations will be carried out, as well as simulations by means of development tools. Then, by means of a design with an application, the design of this antenna will be carried out.
