Abstract: The globalized projects methodology incorporates the contents of different subjects in an interdisciplinary way in response to the fragmentation of the teaching-learning process. This study aims to analyse the strengths and weaknesses of globalized projects from the perspective of teachers and students and to determine which changes globalized projects cause in the academic performance of students. The sample of this study includes one teacher and 41 first year Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) students from Quatre Cantons high school in Barcelona. The methodology has been mixed, through a non-experimental design with self-administered questionnaires with the student and the teacher, an observational methodology and an interview with the teacher. The results indicate that for 90.2% of participants, doing globalized projects has been helpful. The strengths of globalized projects include good teacher-student interaction and the inclusion of all students as a result of Universal Design for Learning. And the weaknesses include the fact that globalized projects are not entirely based on the interests of the students but on the curriculum and how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the organization of the groups.
