Abstract: The aim of this Master's Dissertation (TFM) is to study the way in which students of English as a foreign language learn the so-called phrasal verbs or prepositional verbs and to improve the learning and teaching process through technological tools, specifically Quizlet. This project is divided into two main parts: a theoretical framework and a pedagogical intervention or didactic unit. The literature review provides an overview of the process of second language lexical learning. Subsequently, it focuses on the acquisition of multi-word expressions or phrasal verbs, studying different techniques for this purpose, as well as the implementation of technology, considering its benefits and difficulties and, specifically, the use of the Quizlet tool. Finally, the didactic intervention presented is related to the world of travel and, through its six sessions and numerous activities, its main objective is that students not only learn phrasal verbs through Quizlet, but also acquire the ability to use them to communicate in real contexts.
