Title: Pedagogia de la mort a Educació Infantil: La importància d'una conscienciació dels professionals de l'educació per avançar en la concepció del dol

Abstract: In the literature we find several authors who defend the importance of the pedagogy of death promoted by educational institutions for the correct integral development of the child. Even so, socially, it is considered a taboo subject that avoids talking about it because of the fear and ignorance it generates, but it also reaches schools, meaning that teachers must be prepared to be able to manage it pedagogically and emotionally. This study aims to evaluate the degree of preparation of teachers of the childhood education as well as the children's knowledge regarding the pedagogy of death, by means of 3 Likert-type response questionnaires, with a single response option and open questions. The data obtained indicate that the teachers are not prepared or capable to carry out a pedagogy of death in the classrooms, feeling conditioned by the vision that families have around the concept of death.
