Author: Puigdemunt Areñas, Arnau
Tutor: Losantos Viñolas, Pere
Abstract: This project grows from the need of the company Altimiras Energies Renovables to stand out from its competition and to become known outside the region of Osona in order to expand in a short term and guarantee a long-term market share. In order to achieve these objectives, we analyse the micro-environment and macro-environment of the company, which is focused in executing solar photovoltaic projects, to identify the society needs in this area and to analyse the demand and supply of the PV sector, with the aim of knowing the potential consumer needs. Secondly, we analyse the current operation of the company, its business model and its strengths and weaknesses in order to know in detail what the company offers to its potential clients and the potential customers vision of the company. Once we have analysed these two previous points, we consider what needs we need to solve and which objectives we want to achieve with the expansion plan. Following the existing innovation model of the company, we bring up a number of possibilities such as new services or activities that the company can perform to differentiate from its competition. Finally, we analyse these new services, we choose the ones that solve the objectives of the expansion plan and that are technically and economically viable and we develop the implementation of the expansion plan.
