Las redes sociales y su influencia en la etapa de educación primaria

Abstract

En la actualidad, el mundo de las redes sociales está presente en la vida cotidiana de la mayoría de niños y niñas, siendo estas una herramienta interesante y motivadora para ellos/as. Por tanto, a través de su aplicación educativa se pueden obtener numerosos beneficios que favorezcan el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. El objetivo principal que se pretende conseguir con este documento, es investigar las diferentes funciones y posibilidades que las redes sociales pueden brindar al profesorado actualmente en un entorno educativo, más concretamente en Educación Primaria. De esta manera, se comprobará de qué manera se pueden aplicar las redes sociales de manera correcta para que estas influyan de forma positiva en el rendimiento académico del alumnado. Por tanto, en el presente trabajo se ha analizado el impacto que tienen las redes sociales en el ámbito educativo, fijando las ventajas y desventajas que estas herramientas pueden aportar al proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje del alumnado, así como la influencia de estas en su motivación e interés.

Currently, the world of social networks is present in the daily lives of most children, these being an interesting and motivating tool for them. Therefore, through its educational application, numerous benefits can be obtained that favor the teaching and learning process. The main objective that is intended to be achieved with this document, is to investigate the different functions and possibilities that social networks can offer teachers currently in an educational environment, more specifically in Primary Education. In this way, will be check how social networks can be applied correctly so that they positively influence the academic performance of students. Therefore, in the present work we have analyzed the impact that social networks have in the educational field, establishing the advantages and disadvantages that these tools can contribute to the teaching and learning process of the students, as well as their influence on their motivation and interest.
