Abstract: The growing interest in the care of ornamental plants and urban gardens in urban areas contrasts with the lack of ability of city dwellers to properly care for them. This project aims to use technology as a tool to assist in this care. It consists of different independent modules that communicate with each other using BLE technology. The moisture measurement module constantly monitors the moisture level of the plants' substrate, while the irrigation module supplies the necessary water to ensure their survival. On the other hand, the main IoT module is responsible for receiving data from the different modules and determining which plants need watering. Additionally, this last module is connected via WiFi to a broker MQTT cloud service that collects and delivery the data, making it available to users anywhere in the world.
