Análisis traductológico de "Sapiens. Una historia gráfica 2"

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo fundamental abordar el estudio de la traducción al español de Sapiens. A graphic History, Volume 2. The Pillars of Civilization de Y. N. Harari, D. Vandermeulen y D. Casanave, publicada en 2021, llevada a cabo por Marcos Pérez Sánchez. Esta obra es representativa de las nuevas adaptaciones de obras de diferentes campos del conocimiento que se están publicando con el objeto de acercarlas a un mayor ámbito de lectores, fruto de la actual consideración del cómic como vehículo de prestigio para la transmisión de conocimiento. Tomando como ejes de referencia las categorías textuales, intertextuales y contextuales se confrontará el marco teórico traductológico actual con los retos que plantee este tipo de texto.

The main objective of this paper is to analyse the Spanish translation of Sapiens. A graphic History, Volume 2. The Pillars of Civilization by Y. N. Harari, D. Vandermeulen and D. Casanave, published in 2021, carried out by Marcos Pérez Sánchez. This work is representative of the new adaptations of works from different fields of knowledge, published in order to bring them closer to a wider range of readers, as a result of the current consideration of comics as a prestigious means of transmission of knowledge. Taking textual, intertextual, and contextual categories as axes of reference, the current translation theory theoretical framework will be confronted with the challenges posed by this type of text.
