Title: Análisis traductológico de "Sapiens. Una historia gráfica 2"
Author: Salvador Donaire, Miguel Ángel
Tutor: Borrell Carreras, Helena
Abstract: The main objective of this paper is to analyse the Spanish translation of Sapiens. A graphic History, Volume 2. The Pillars of Civilization by Y. N. Harari, D. Vandermeulen and D. Casanave, published in 2021, carried out by Marcos Pérez Sánchez. This work is representative of the new adaptations of works from different fields of knowledge, published in order to bring them closer to a wider range of readers, as a result of the current consideration of comics as a prestigious means of transmission of knowledge. Taking textual, intertextual, and contextual categories as axes of reference, the current translation theory theoretical framework will be confronted with the challenges posed by this type of text.
