Title: Fomentando la expresión oral en inglés mediante el uso del podcast y un enfoque AICLE en 1º de la E.S.O.
Author: Soler Bono, Anna
Tutor: Miró Martí, Oriol
Abstract: Traditionally, the teaching of English as a foreign language has focused mainly on written skills, neglecting oral production. However, in recent years there has been a shift in second language teaching methods, with greater emphasis on speaking and communicative competence. In this sense, this work proposes to influence students' oral production through a didactic proposal supported by the use of technology. The aim is to encourage the use of oral production in English as a foreign language in students in the first year of Compulsory Secondary Education through the design of a final task with a CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach based on the subject of Geography and History, specifically addressing the topic of Prehistory. Technological tools such as podcasts will be used, with an active methodology centred on the student, promoting collaborative learning. The final objective is also to increase student motivation and encourage a communicative approach in the classroom.
