Abstract: Learning activities are essential in course design to achieve learning outcomes. Based on situated learning, they can be of various categories. The interaction between Education and AI modifies the necessary cognitive skills, influencing the design of activities. Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) tools can help create more motivating and personalized activities. However, they must always be supervised and adapted by the teaching staff to fit the course context and learning objectives.
