Title: La divergència dialectal a l’aula: un corpus oral sincrònic de les varietats del castellà per a l’ESO

Abstract: The Specific Competence 1 of the Catalan Basic Education curriculum includes the promotion of students' perception, knowledge and enjoyment of linguistic variation. However, the lack of instruments and the educational practices focused on scripturality make it difficult to teach it properly, creating negative attitudes towards the linguistic variation from the students. Starting from a specific context, a school in Baix Llobregat and a 2nd grade secondary education class with which we worked on this competence, we have collected data on the perceived usefulness of creating an oral dialectal corpus of the Spanish language as a tool in the classroom. Once confirmed, we created it.
