Title: Influència del patró respiratori oral en el procés d’aprenentatge

Abstract: Learning disabilities are present and common in all education stages of children at school. Relating to this, an oral breathing pattern can lead to negative consequences on the quality of life at all levels of people’s global development, including possible learning disabilities. Thus, understanding the existence of the interaction between learning and breathing pattern could be relevant in order to avoid possible cases of learning disabilities. Therefore, this clinical guide will focus on investigating and highlighting the relationship between this breathing pattern and learning disabilities in children based on an evidence review in order to provide detection and prevention tools of this breathing pattern and thus avoid possible cases of learning disabilities. To do so, a literature’s review will be carried out, with the corresponding screenings in order to get the studies finally chosen to answer the initial quesiton: how does oral breathing pattern affect the learning process?. From there, a serie of recommendations wil be synthesized, with the aim of mitigating the repercussions that this breathing pattern can end up having on people’s learning habilities, which include early detection and intervention, aspects at brain level, such as oxygenation, which can play a key role in the learning process developement. Taking all of this into account, a serie of recommendations are proposed.
