Abstract: This essay analyzes the crisis of the common in the context of the culture war, polarization and exclusion of subaltern subjects, with a particular focus on the LGTBIQ+ community. Through a philosophical, personal and political approach, concepts such as biopolitics, necropolitics and different types of violence are explored, linking them to the rise of national populism, digitalization and social fragmentation. It is argued that the dissolution of community is not only a structural phenomenon, but also an affective wound that generates hopelessness, escapism and self-destruction, and that some subjects are more vulnerable to political changes than others. Finally, the need for an ethical reconstruction based on oikeiosis, the ethics of care and Aristotelian ethics to restore coexistence and mutual recognition in the polis is proposed, with a special emphasis on its applicability.
Keywords: culture war, subalternity, biopolitics, necropolitics, exclusion, ethics of care, nihilism, coexistence.
