Title: Competencias TIC y desigualdades salariales
Author: Cruz Cano, Lourdes de la
Abstract: This brief essay focuses on the relationship between skills to the use of information and communications technology (ICT) and wage differentials between workers, especially between men and women. Specifically, it analyzes and investigates the case of Spain with the intention to reinforce or refute those positions that determine that ICT is a key element to explain the observed wage differentials. Also, through the review of existing literature, it reflects on the possibility that ICT skills may involve an element of wage inequalities correction in gender.
