Abstract: Intersectionality is a theory that seeks to capture the multiple relationships between power structures such as gender, race, class, sexuality or age. It is currently considered a field of research in itself and is conceived as one of the most important contributions of feminist theory. In the field of geography, it is recently being consolidated as a relevant approach, but the theoretical and methodological proposals are still scarce. In this article I situate Geographies of Intersectionality as a fruitful field of research, with many possibilities of theoretical development and practical application. With this aim, through empirical research on the access of youth to the city, I present the Relief Maps as a tool to work on the Geographies of Intersectionality from a geographical perspective and placing special emphasis on the emotional dimension as an indicator of inequalities.
