Title: L'educació mediàtica a Catalunya: Educació Primària

Abstract: Today's society is hyperconnected and the media play a fundamental role, but a critical reading must be made, since disinformation, infoxication and fake news are the order of the day. Children and young people are not left out of these phenomena and it is necessary that, from a very young age, children learn to make a conscious consumption of the media, to be able to analyze and be critical of the information and fiction content they consume. To achieve this, media education is necessary. The current situation of this approach is almost non-existent in legislation and educational centers, but the concern of experts, teachers and families is growing. In this research, the current situation is analyzed and opinions of primary school children are collected regarding media and digital platforms, in order to make a concrete proposal to apply media education in the classroom.
