Title: L'atenció emocional a les aules d'acollida de secundària de Catalunya

Abstract: The reception classrooms are a resource to attend to the newly arrived students when they arrive to the educational system in Catalonia. The psychological discomfort derived from the migration process highlights the importance of being able to attend to the emotional needs of these students. The aim of this study is to explore whether this emotional attention is being carried out in secondary school classrooms. To verify this, two questionnaires were administered to students and teachers from different schools in the region. Likewise, other needs perceived by the sample have been explored, in order to draw new lines of psycho-pedagogical intervention in the context of the reception classrooms.
