Abstract: Objective: To analyze the differences in accessibility of patients >15th to arrange a telephone, telematic or face-to-face visit with their family physician in a rural Basic Health Area in the COVID19 period. Methods: Retrospective descriptive observational cross-sectional study 2021-2022, of 307 consultations (e-consultations, telephone, face-to-face) generated by patients. The following variables were collected: type and reason for consultation, age, sex, number of pathologies of the patient, day of generation, scheduling and resolution of the consultation, requirement for subsequent face-to-face appointment, whether the e-consultation was generated by a 3rd person. Results: 171 consultations were made by women (55.8%, mean age 50.78), and 135 (44.11%) by men (mean age 54.9). The most frequent type of consultation was by telephone (169, 55.4%), followed by face-to-face consultation (81, 26.38%) and e-consultation (57, 18.56%). The main reason for consultation was health in all types of consultation. Statistically significant differences were found in: mean age according to type of consultation (e-consultation 44.02, telephone 52.83, face-to-face 58.01, p <0.001), mean number of pathologies (e-consultation 0. 32, telephone 0.88, face-to-face 1.22, p <0.001), days of delay in scheduling (e-consultation 2.84, telephone 5.86, face-to-face 5.98, p 0.005) and days of resolution (e-consultation -0.05, telephone 0, face-to-face 0, p 0.001). Telephone consultation required a face-to-face visit on more occasions than e-consultation (43.19% and 15.78% respectively). Conclusions: Telephone consultation has been the most used by patients. Older patients and patients with more pathologies have worse accessibility to their family physician.
