Abstract: One of the main challenges schools and institutes are facing today is to walk towards an inclusive school where all needs, diversity or differences are accompanied and a school where all students can be included. However, the constant demands of the Administration also go in the direction of offering individualized teaching-learning processes, adapted to the level of each one and far removed from the traditionalism of mechanics or repetition. Here is where the new learning methodology called learning environments emerges, an idea focused on the child as an active subject, unique and able to self-regulate his/her learning process based on their interests and motivations. The present study seeks to know whether this methodology can become a tool for attention to diversity and thus be able to optimize this proposal. Through a mixed methodology combining a quantitative questionnaire with a Likert scale and a qualitative interview, through a concurrent triangulation process, it is observed that this methodology is appropriate to be able to address diversity within the classroom because it allows better attention to students with more difficulties.
