Title: Investigación acerca del diseño universal para el aprendizaje en la formación profesional ¿Conocen y aplican los docentes de FP los principios y pautas del DUA como respuesta a la diversidad?

Abstract: This Master's Thesis aims to investigate the knowledge that Vocational Education and Training (VET) teachers have about Universal Design for Learning (UDL), as well as their pedagogical practices and their perception of a medium-term implementation of this approach. The aim is, therefore, to analyze the response that these teachers give to the diversity present in their classrooms and how close or far this response is from an inclusive education. On the other hand, we also explore the differences shown in the responses obtained among teachers of different levels of VET, Basic, Intermediate and Higher, as well as among teachers of different professional families. With a mixed methodology, of a cross-sectional descriptive nature, the information was obtained through an ad hoc questionnaire for teachers and a semi-structured interview for guidance counselors. The sample is made up of 72 teachers and 2 guidance counselors, who carry out their professional work in the province of Salamanca. The results show an enormous lack of knowledge about the SAD, despite the fact that some of the practices consulted are mostly carried out by the participants. Overall, the results indicate that there is still a long way to go in the generalization of the use of SAD principles and guidelines as a response to diversity. There are no significant differences in knowledge, training and practices among the categories analyzed, although there are significant differences in the perception that teachers from different professional families have of the implementation of the SAD in the medium term.
