Abstract: | In recent years, the rise of ICTs in the field of video game development has given rise to platforms such as the Unity Asset Store, where today countless tools are sold, as well as 3D models capable of simplifying the production process at the cost of standardization and the lack of original exclusive content. The purpose of this project is to create a video game with environments, objects, and characters, rich in details, through an original creative process. For this, an appearance will be used that combines the aesthetics of these in the search for a product with a visual identity with its own and distinguishable features. This will run on computers with Windows operating systems that can meet the hardware needs that it will require. It will be compatible with the Xbox controller and it will be an ARPG with cyberpunk aesthetics and isometric views that allow the player to recreate himself on stage. It will be managed with an agile work methodology, specifically the SCRUM. This allows the different milestones that will be carried out during the development of the project to be divided into sprints. Which mainly cover creative processes of image design, modelling, and texturing, as well as their subsequent assembly and programming in the graphics engine. At a functional level, it will be made up of a basic menu and a playable level that allows the user to get a good idea of what the game could be like with a story and more levels. Even so, despite the fact that it is a single-level game, it will be able to execute all the basic functions that are expected from a finished title. As the main feature, the priority will be to create a game with a more artistic, immersive, and unique touch that can offer fresh air in an environment (that of video games) where it is increasingly common to see scenarios with generic objects, inconsistent with each other and with weak credibility. |
