Abstract: Introduction. The purpose of this review is to identify and analyse the components and methodology (number of sessions, duration, and contents) of different adolescent datingviolence prevention programs, applied in community and educational settings, whose efficacy has been proven. Methodology. A systematic review was carried out following thePrismacriteria. A search was carried out in five databases, and ten articles were selected following the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results. Two tables are made considering the place of originof each research, age, gender, main objectives, evaluation and follow-up measures, context of application, program contents and results. Discussion. Most of the selected articles are applied in the school setting with children between 7 and 18 years of age. The structure of the programs varies from a maximum of 27.5 program hours spread over 11 sessions to 2.5hoursin a single session. The main focus of the programs is to work on risk and protective factors at an individual level. The different programs have used different evaluation measures, which has made comparison between studies difficult. Conclusions. It is necessary to carry out programsof longer duration and programs that work from the ecological model. New technologies could be an instrument to cover a greater number of contexts. The use of validated and published instruments is also recommended, as well as the inclusion of other observers to report changesin children behaviour, such as parents, teachers, and caregivers.
