Abstract: Ke aim of this paper is to analyse the theoretical perspective on «moral responsibility» of some of the most important authors of the Spanish Neo-Scholasticism at the late 19th century and the early 20th century. It shows the transformation from a catholic and conservative society into a progressively laical, liberal, industrial and capitalist one. Kis transformation goes with an essential reconCguration of the anthropo-technics and psychological images of human being and its activity. In this context, Neo-Scholasticism will have to incorporate new psychological dimensions and categories to «adapt» itself to the social situation in change. It is possible to detect this transformation in some aspects of the theoretical perspective on ethics from catholic authors at the end of 19th century to the catholic authors at the beginning of 20th.
