Abstract: | The fostering in coexistence units of educational action (UCAE) is not used much as a protection measure in the childcare and adolescence system. It is introduced as an area to professionalize the social education. In this article we offer some legal and conceptual keys, aiming to encourage the competent administrations to commit. A broad and functional development of the UCAE provides the potential of a protective measure that can offer a valid alternative for many children and adolescents in social distress or difficulty. |
