Abstract: Leisure is one of the pillars of contemporary Western society. The objective of this work is to analyze the leisure, the context and the accompaniment that take place in a Residential Educational Action Center. Bearing in mind that one of the objectives of these centers is to ensure healthy integral development of people, in this work we reflect on how leisure time influences this milestone and what are the contexts that the educator needs to have in account to reach the goal. It is a reflection on human relations and on the commitment to particularize education. To particularize is to understand that the person to whom the educational action is directed is a unique individual and active agent indispensable in his own development. Giving the word, listening to the said and silenced wills, believing in resilience, good treatment that starts from the bond with the person are just some of the pillars that any social educator has to bear in mind in the educational action and in the accompaniment , themes on which this work reflects.
