Abstract: The present article briefly describes key concepts relating to six basic instructional dimensions that determine the quality of the virtual teaching and learning process. Each of these dimensions represents pedagogically identifiable dimensions (the teacher, the students, the context, educational time, contents and the teaching methodology). Moreover, the article aims to stimulate reflection on and analysis of the potential psychological development that can occur within the framework ofemerging virtual education, which is related to conventional education, and especially in higher education organizations.
