Title: Teoría y praxis de la atención temprana del alumnado con TEA. Comparativa entre la literatura científica y la realidad educativa
Author: Santana-Grau, Berta
Tutor: SOLÀ DESCAMPS, LLUÍS
Abstract: The motivation for this paper stems from the author's interest in achieving inclusive education as an early childhood teacher. It is true that in recent years inclusive education has revolutionised the educational context, but it still requires more ongoing training and a greater number of resources. The study aims to find out and identify whether there are differences between the professional and scientific spheres in relation to the benefits of early care for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). After the analysis of 30 scientific articles and 4 interviews with psycho-pedagogical professionals, it is concluded that theory and practice have many points in common in the development of educational therapies. A discrepancy should simply be pointed out in relation to the new update of the DSM-V which includes Asperger's syndrome within the section on ASD, as psycho-pedagogical professionals show some reluctance to accept it.
