Abstract: | This study describes the psychological discourse used in the articles about Latin-america published on the Boletín de la Institución Libre de Enseñanza (1877-1936). The analysis of this Journal allow us to show some sociocultural problems on the relationship between Spain ans Latinamerica, as well as the evolution of the psychological theories involved in theirs definition and analysis. The historical period above mentioned can be characterized by the program of Modernity ( based on the sciences). A descriptive analysis of years, authors and topics of the articles related to Latin-america was made. From this point a genealogic analysis of the psychological ideas is presented. Amont he different theoretical perspectives, the spanish "race" or "spirit" ideas by authors like J. Costa, A. Posada o A. Castro and the psychopedagogical contributions of latinamerica authors like V. Letelier o A. Aguayo are highlighted. |
